WHO I AM

My name is Moira. I have been a social worker for  30 years. During my time as a social worker I often dealt with families who were struggling through the stressful experience of separation. The Family Law Act (FLA) in BC made some positive changes to assist in moving along the process of separation to alleviate the situation more quickly and to promote a child-focused outcome. One of these changes is the option of having a 'Hear the Child ' report (also known as a 'Voice of the Child' report) done by a qualified professional. Another option is to have a Section 211 report completed  for the court by a qualified professional. I am qualified to do both.  

I have witnessed the harmful effects on children due to unsettled disputes over parenting arrangements, some of these disputes lasting years. My intention is to assist in moving the process forward in the most efficient, effective and child-centered way possible.
